There are millions and millions of everyday things we’re used to doing one way even though there is a much easier solution. For example, you don’t need to hurt yourself on pistachio shells and you might want to reconsider the way you’re sleeping.
We have collected 10 useful tips for you to employ to simplify your everyday life.
1. Putting Oreos in milk with our fingers
All this time we could’ve just used fork instead. Our fingers now are clean and crumb-less.
2. Not getting all of the lime juice
It’s much easier to cut the top of the lime (or lemon, or orange). This way you can get all of the juice out of the fruit.
3. Opening pistachios
All we needed to do is use another pistachio’s shell to break the other shells apart.
4. Letting children spill the juice
Instead they can use the handles on each side of the juice box. This way they won’t squeeze too hard and spill their drink.
5. Not sleeping correctly
You might want to get another pillow to use for your spine and legs. This way the blood will flow smoothly and there won’t be as much tension in your back.
6. Peeling oranges with our hands
You can use a knife to cut off the bottom and the top of the orange and then cut it in the middle to simply open it like you would open a tangerine.
7. Cooling our drinks
It’s actually much easier to cool down a room temperature drink if you use a wet paper towel, wrap it around the drink, and then put it in the freezer.
8. Putting toilet paper up
The toilet paper patent from 1891 shows the right way to do it.
9. Cutting bread
Do not cut from the top because it’s really crumbly, do it from the bottom instead. This part is softer and easier to cut into without getting crumbs all over the place.
10. Overusing toothpaste
You’re probably using too much when brushing your teeth. Trust us, you only need a pea-sized amount on your toothbrush and that’s more than enough for your whole mouth.
