When children are born, they’re innocent and pure. Because emotions like embarrassment and shame are dependent on society’s reactions to someone’s actions, it takes awhile for children to develop these emotions. But it seems that there are some kids out there that never receive the memo because they go through their lives doing the silliest things without caring what other people think. Maybe we should be more like these kids…
A parent online wrote, “When the door in the bathroom got stuck, our 7-year-old daughter found a way out.” We obviously have a lot of questions. First, exactly how long was she locked in there that she had enough time to make that hole? Second, was she allowed to watch the movie “The Shining”?
Now that we’re talking about scary movies…
2. What Do We Have Here?
Kids absolutely love Halloween. They’re allowed to go out hunting for candy and wear crazy costumes. Some kids, though, take the costume part to an extreme level. We’re not entirely sure if this kid watched the movie his costume is inspired by, but it’s safe to say that his costume definitely doesn’t fit in with the rest of the kids in his class.
How would you react if your child gave you a card like this?
3. Any Sticker Will Do
The creativity that children have in them is limitless and it should never be constrained. So, if they use materials that are…unorthodox for their art projects, we should just let them. You never know. Maybe their work will one day be hanging in the Museum of Modern Art. And you can say that it started with sanitary pads with pride in your heart.
Ever wonder where kids come up with some of their ideas?
4. Bringing Everyone Back Together
The person who shared this image on Reddit wrote, “When asked about it, my 6-year old niece told me they were trying to bring Mommy back to life.” It’s obvious that she was recreating a seance. Now the question stands: did she get the idea from a movie, or did she see this in real life?
Are you embarrassed by your kid when you go out in public?
5. Diving Deep
The history of the Old Market Square in Nottingham, England goes back over 700 years. That obviously didn’t matter to this kid. Maybe it was really hot out that day and he needed to cool down. Or maybe he dropped his favorite toy and it fell to the bottom so he decided to jump in to get it.
Has an ice cream cone ever scared you?
6. A Bit Of Both
One online user wrote, “What my 2-year-old daughter chose for her Halloween costume.” This kid obviously has two different personality types trying to win her over. On one hand, she likes cute, wholesome things, like pink ice cream. But the other side of her is way more sinister. Will she succumb to the darkness or thrive in the light?
We bet you wish you thought of this when you were a kid.
7. In The Midst Of The Crime
This kid definitely enjoys the good things in life. Not only did he manage to get out of bed at 3 a.m., but he was also able to sneak to the kitchen and get all of those snack without his parents knowing. Maybe if would’ve turned the TV down he would’ve gotten away with the crime.
This next picture might be a trigger for you. You have been warned.
8. A Kid With Superpowers?
“This is how my son was sleeping. He may be immortal,” wrote the father of this child. We definitely agree. Anyone who has ever stepped on a Lego knows how unpleasant it is. And this kid has no problem just falling asleep face-down in a pile of them. Could he be the spawn of the devil, or is his pain threshold just really high?
How about taking a picture with a random kid?
9. Born To Shine
It can be an absolute nightmare to take family photos in a studio, especially if there are little kids involved. So it’s considered a blessing when you have child that actually likes being in pictures. It could be a problem if your child likes it a little too much, though. But at least it seems that this family didn’t mind the attention-hogging little girl and took it all in stride.
You’ll never want to get in a mascot suit after this next picture.
10. Getting A Little Handsy
You never think that you’re going to be manhandled when you put on a mascot suit, especially not an Easter bunny suit. Considering that your job consists of taking picture with little kids, promoting whatever it is you were hired to promote, and waving, you’d never imagine that this would happen. But this little girl has different plans. We’re not exactly sure what the person in the suit is thinking, but we’re pretty sure the bunny’s face says it all.
How would you feel if your kid was possessed?
11. Baby Edition Of Paranormal Activity
“My wife heard her name being whispered ‘Naa-taa-shaa…’ she looked at the baby monitor to find our son like this,” wrote the dad of this child. Posting this picture online could’ve been the last thing this man ever did. Maybe we should look online to see if there’s any news about Natasha and her husband being murdered.
This is not what we meant when we said “royal hot dog.”
12. She Values The Important Things In Life
Princesses were pretty one-dimensional in the early days of Disney. Thankfully they’ve diversified quite a bit. Honestly, it wouldn’t be surprising if one day there was a Disney princess that was actually a hot dog. This little girl will have the last laugh when that day comes.
Has your child ever roasted you?
13. Not Dying Yet
The old saying goes “kids say the darnedest things.” And after looking at this birthday card, it’s evident that kids write and draw them, too. The main question is: why does this kid think his dad is so close to death? But the metaphor he used is pretty accurate.
You won’t like this next one if you’re a germaphobe.
14. Just Be Gentle
This kid has been watching inappropriate things on TV or the grownups in his life go overboard with their acts of affection. Regardless, we’re glad that this little boy gets to practice his kissing skills with this dolphin instead of some unsuspecting little girl. Let’s just hope that he doesn’t think that every kiss should be this fishy and salty.
This kid might just need a therapist. Soon.
15. Not Your Average Turkey
At first glance, this looks like a cute little Lego kitchen. But when you look closer, you’ll realize that there isn’t a small plastic turkey in the oven. It’s actually a doll’s head. We’re not sure what we would do if we were this kid’s parents. Either we’d be running to therapy, or running away to leave our old life behind.
Like, for example, this kid has no idea that they’re the funniest physical comedian since Buster Keaton.
But it’s true. Give this kid a three-picture deal because I’d watch those movies in an instant.
What is this?
Another baby? That wasn’t part of the deal. I guess her family doesn’t need her anymore.
Hm, I may be misreading this so forgive me, but it seems to me like this little girl would like a cat for Christmas. She went through a lot of trouble to say so.
What’s in that cup? I know it’s probably juice, but this is a wine mom in training if I ever saw one. She’s killing it.
This kid hasn’t even been alive for a year, and he’s already better at posing for photos than I will ever be!
Kids can also be pretty strange. They’re just learning about their own mortality, and sometimes that translates to pretend funerals where they play dead.
my little sister got a barbie dream house N HER ASIAN ASS MAKES ALL THE BARBIES TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES BEFORE ENTERING
If she grew up thinking that was the norm, why wouldn’t Barbie and Ken follow the same practice? They are polite people, after all.
I would watch this sitcom.
Oh wait, it existed, and it was called Dinosaurs.
What, Spider-Man wasn’t present at the birth of baby Jesus? There were definitely spiders there, so this is just like, one step away from that.
Where did this 5-year-old learn that he needed a go box? What is he watching a gangster movie?
This is amazing. Why would he want to eat those little sugar packets? Is he deprived of a reasonable amount of sugar at home?
There’s no joke here. It’s just a little baby making a funny face, and looking like your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving.
Wings in the tub
Sure, this is funny for like a second, but then you realize that this kid is a straight-up genius.
This kid was told not to blink while his picture was being taken, so he made sure that wouldn’t happen, and this is the photo.
Chicken and pig
It’s so cruel to make the chicken and the pig watch you eat your eggs and bacon! Also, why do you want your toy animals to watch you eat in the first place?
A note for dad
Just a casual warning for dad about what he might find in her room in the morning. Love the side note explaining for the grown man what diarrhea is.
100 years old
Look, he’s just being realistic.
Most people don’t live to be 100-years-old.
This is the spookiest cherry on top of an ice cream cone that I have ever seen! But to be honest, it still looks delicious.
Taking a break
I mean, this looks pretty official to me. The “school company” clearly means business, what with their official stamp and everything.
Too close for comfort
This picture makes me laugh so hard. When you’re scared but you still want to be sort of brave anyway, you get this.
You at least have to ask! What if Siri did have a bunch of cookies and was waiting for you to ask for one?
There’s no real arguing with this advice. Be a great person, and your life will be great. That’s all you have to do.
Ethan’s Gone List
As someone who grew up with my very own annoying brother, I want this girl to know that I understand. I get it. “Hammer everything he loves” is pretty dramatic though.
When three kids take a bubble bath you have to exponentially increase the bubbles you use for each kid.
I’ve always admired people who can fall asleep in uncomfortable positions, like sitting on a plane, or on the bus, or standing up in downward dog.
I love that this is a thing that happens every morning. The dog looks really disappointed that he lost today!
“Dad, I am your daughter”
There is a little girl out there going about her life while not realizing that she is a Star Wars pun genius.
In some culture, I bet this does qualify as a “gentle kiss.”
But now, that kid will always know what a dolphin tastes like, and that’s more than I can say for anyone else.
Hopes and dreams
The kid who wants to be a sprinkled red-frosted donut is my hero. What a specific and delicious dream.
