A Blood clot is a jelly-like substance, and it is the final product of hemostasis. It is formed due to coagulation of blood, and its formation is very necessary for stopping continuous blood flow in case of damage to any blood vessel.
However, in some cases, blood begins to coagulate even when it is not required. This results in discontinuous blood flow resulting in strokes.
