What is it that makes us so fascinated with animals? We love to watch them, interact with them, and even photograph them. Animals are amazing, and we are learning more about them every day.
Sometimes we only need to be around them for a few minutes to understand why they are so special. Whether we see them at a zoo, in the wild, or if they are pets in our own home, animals can keep us entertained and amused for hours.
Animals seem to like people too. In fact, many of them enjoy observing humans just as much as humans like to observe them. They also have fun imitating humans, which can make for some pretty funny moments.

A fish seems like an easy pet to care for, but sometimes you get to the pet store and see all those fluffy critters and you can’t resist them. Sure the fish might have been the easier choice, but this little bunny can actually be held and snuggled. Maybe they could name the bunny “Fish.”

This guy is really going places. He is also taking his dogs and his duck with him. It’s hard getting all your animals out of the house at once, but he’s managed to master it. Ducks have sensitive feet, so they need shoes. The dogs are probably just too tired to walk. It seems to be working for him so who are we to judge?

Why would this raccoon go anywhere else to live when he has it made right where he is? He has a great little bed, he can get in out of the rain if wanted, and he can sneak food from the garbage. The forest might be prettier, but city life seems to be working fine for him.

This bird looks like she might be modeling this hat. There must be someone out there who makes tiny little bird hats. Whoever it is, they’re pretty good at it. What’s the market like for something like that? How do the birds keep them on their heads? This bird seems to be proud of her hat.

This Cheetah wants those Cheetos really bad, and this man better consider giving them up. Cheetahs are top predators that get what they want. Maybe this Cheetah is named Chester and feels like she deserves the Cheetos since she is pretty much the spokesperson for the brand.

There’s nothing that makes friendship stronger than holding hands. These cats are doing what they love together, making a special moment. They are probably trying to keep each other calm while the birds tease them outside the window. It’s such a cute little photo.

These little pandas must be hot and tired. They look like they just collapsed on their little deck and couldn’t go on anymore. They kind of look like little panda marshmallows. Those chubby little cuties are just too much to handle. They don’t even know how easy they have it right now.

What would you do if you saw that your guinea pig trying to get into your phone? Why would the guinea pig even do this? Is he a spy? Maybe he needed to Google something. Hopefully, he never learns the password to get into it.

A lot of people don’t like insects, but they are incredible creatures. His tiny caterpillar may not be big now, but he will eventually turn into a beautiful butterfly or moth. Right now he is happy eating all day and occasionally making friends with humans. He seems to have a little smiley face.

People either love sloths or are completely creeped out by them. This man clearly loves them. He must have been waiting a while to capture this moment. His face is nothing but pure happiness. The sloth seems pretty happy too. Sloths must be good huggers.

Every bird needs someone to love it, and Kiwi didn’t care if his girlfriend was a little gothic. He loved her just the same. It’s no surprise they had a little family in no time. It’s a simple story; bird meets girl bird, birds fall in love, birds have little half-goth baby birds. They sure are cute.
12. A Real Hero
Birds sometimes get themselves into crazy situations. This poor bird was probably terrified after getting stuck in the grill. Luckily, this hero and the car owner had the bird’s best interest in mind. He will recover and hopefully avoid cars in the future. He got lucky this time.

This man must really love his wife. You can tell he puts a lot of work into making her happy. Things like this make you want to believe in love. Everyone deserves a relationship like this. In many ways, it’s a magical gift. She’s a lucky lady.

The alpaca just had her baby, and her chicken friend wasn’t going to let her do it alone. Like a good friend, she showed up to see the baby when it was born. She is letting the alpaca know that she will always be there for her and her baby. Who knew animals were so sentimental?

Because albino squirrels are pretty rare, there aren’t many photos of them. Even if you are lucky enough to see one, they are probably moving too quickly to get a photo. This photographer got lucky and caught one sleeping in a tree. It’s stunning.

This pideon just happened to be in the right place at the right time. She seems to be taking a note from Marilyn Monroe to make the most of it. Either she was enjoying the breeze on a hot day, or she saw the camera and knew it was her moment to shine.

Sometimes things like this happen, and you don’t know how to take them. It could just be a pure coincidence, but it sure seems like more. Why would the owl suddenly come inside to perch on these things? It looks like this guy’s friend is trying to tell him something.

This little bat found a nice place for a nap. Well, it seemed like a nice place at night. When the business opened, the owners had to put up a sign so nobody would open the door and scare or disturb the little bat. That’s a nice gesture. Most people wouldn’t go out of their way to do this.

When someone has a baby on the farm, everyone wants to see it, even the chickens. These hens found out there was a new baby and had to go check things out for themselves. It’s just like the movie Charlotte’s Web; only hopefully these animals are friendly toward the new guy.

Rats are really smart. In fact, many people compare them to dogs. They can learn tricks, follow commands, and even form close bonds with humans. This little rat doesn’t want to hurt her mom. All she wants to do is play while making sure her mom isn’t hiding any treats. She’s such a polite rat.
21. How to Offend a Gorilla
Gorillas catch on to things pretty quickly. When exposed to humans regularly, you can expect them to learn a few bad habits. This gorilla was tired of people photographing him, so he flipped off the camera. He sure wasn’t ready to take it back. Good thing that glass is there. An offended gorilla could be a dangerous gorilla.
22. One of These Things Is Not Like the Others
This duck is either hiding out or wants to fit in with his new friends. He wants to make sure he plays the part well. He’s practicing balancing on one foot just like the flamingos, and he isn’t half bad at it. If he was only pink, he might have a chance.

Every good mother would do anything to protect her babies. This moose knows that crossing the road with them is dangerous. Still, they need to move around to eat. She found a way to get them across the highway in the safest place possible. That’s one smart moose.

This gorilla is really putting on a show at the zoo. In fact, he seems to be teaching a class to the onlookers. It almost looks like a scene from a movie about college students. The cool professor lets everyone go outside and sit on the grass to learn. It makes you wonder what is going on here.

This photo captured something you will likely never see again. Most of us have never seen squid eggs. When you look at them though, it makes you appreciate nature. These baby squids will hatch soon. Who knew squids laid eggs in seashells?

Someone put this little chair in the tree hoping a bird of a squirrel would find it. This woman came along at the right time to see a squirrel sitting in it and enjoying life. The squirrel is probably just happy to have a place to relax. The longer you look at it, the funnier it gets.

Some animals are naturally great mothers. That instinct is so strong that they will even mother babies that aren’t their own. This hen hatched these baby ducks, and now she treats them as if they belong to her. She seems proud of them, and they don’t mind it one bit.

Maybe it’s the looks on their faces, but something about this handshake seems a little suspicious. Either one is trying to scam the other, or they are up to no good together. What kind of deals do birds make with each other? I don’t think I want to know the answer to that.

This little piggy better be careful. Staying in the sun too long, and the neighbors might start to smell bacon. She is just relaxing on the deck, soaking up the rays. She is the epitome of relaxation in this photo. She must be planning a beach vacation soon.

This pretty little seal is at the vet for a checkup. She’s a good girl and lets them do whatever they need to make her healthy. Her pretty blue eyes don’t even seem to be worried. Hopefully, she is as healthy as can be and can go back to the wild to live happily ever after.
31. Elephant Tour
Everyone loves walking around the zoo to check out the different animal exhibits. This elephant was no different. The handlers took her around to see the other animals at the zoo and snapped some of the encounters. She seemed to like the sea lion exhibit the best.
32. Come On In
These deer are curious and hungry. They saw this convenience store and couldn’t help but wonder what was inside it. They walked right in and weren’t the least bit afraid of the humans. One customer was able to snap a few photos of the curious creatures as they walked around the store to check everything out.
33. So Peaceful
This little fawn found the perfect place to snuggle up and take a nap. It also happens to be a beautiful field of flowers. It’s incredible that someone was able to capture such a beautiful moment. The photographer was close enough to get a good shot but without scaring the baby deer.
34. Take Me for a Ride
This lion doesn’t realize how big he is, thinking he fits in the wheelbarrow just fine. While his handlers work to clean out his enclosure, he seems to be resting. He is probably hoping they will take him for a ride. That would have been another snap worth sharing.
35. This Is Just Adorable
When is the last time you saw something this cute? These two baby weasels are just walking across the road. They were willing to pause so someone could get a quick photo. They are so cute that they barely look real. They look a lot like cute stuffed animals.
