1. Easily find the key you need
If you have a bunch of keys and you can’t readily find the one you use most often, there is a simple way to literally make it stick out. Take the key, and drill a hole in it next to the existing one. Then put the key back on the ring through the new hole. This will make the key jut out at an angle different from the others, enabling you to easily find it.
