Yes, it’s true: the internet is full of cute pics.
But it isn’t all carefully staged or perfectly composed pics that bring the cuteness. These pics may be unexpected, random or just plain weird — but there’s no denying that they’re totally cute.

Anime isn’t for me — the stories are too pseudo-deep and the animation is too jerky — but I’d be willing to make an exception if I had a pet who clearly loved Neon Samurai Bebop Evangelion or whatever.

This lion has such a friendly expression that it’s easy to forget the fact that other big cats have been known to jump out of trees and straight-up murder people.

The best thing about birds is observing just how clever they are and how quick their mental processes are. I don’t know what this bird is thinking, but you can see the gears turning in its head.

What’s with cats doing this? Every cat I’ve ever known will periodically stick its tongue out and briefly look like the cutest dummy ever. Are their tongues faulty? I need answers.

Sure, you may think it’s a kiwi, but this pic proves that it may be an adorable kitten. I just don’t want to take that chance when I bite into it.
